Now that the objects have been created, we will tell the
system what words to accept and how to join them together.
This is called syntactic analysis.
Each word in a sentence performs a certain function. There
are three types of words in English, noun phrases, verb
phrases, and functional words. Functional words are
prepositions. The function of a noun phrase
is dependant on the position in the sentence. Noun phrases
can be subjects or objects of prepositions.
